Particle systems
I looked around the gamedev, but was unable to find any info on particle systems. Does anyone have any good resources for creating particle systems (esp. in Direct3D!)?

If you look in the Code Vault, you''ll find some well documented source code for a particle system in D3D (ParticleChamber by Richard Benson). There''s also an article at nehe.gamedev.net covering them in OpenGL. Finally, if you look at the news from yesterday, you''ll find a link to an article originally appearing in GDMag that has just been put online.
