sure! I''m no pro, but no newbie either. I''ve used allegro game kit for a year, but have shifted to ClanLib to use pure C++.

The reason I posted the OldGames thread is because there is currently discussions about starting a programming project made up of about 5 people. I thought it might be something you''d be interested in.

Additionally, we just finished a Pong game and they''re moving on to Super Breakout.

I''m sorry you couldnt find the thread, it''s the only thread in the "beginners" forum that has over 90 posts. I''d check again.

Sorry, but I''m afraid that I might steer people in the wrong direction. I''m not that confident with my coding skills yet to lead other people. Again, Sorry. I''m just looking for person willing to work on projects with me and finish a couple games together and give each other pointers and things like that.

Might be intresting. I''v been programming for a couple years now (granted not strait but) I have a basis in Visual Basic, Visual C++, and all aspectes (excluding D3D) of DirectX 7.0. Because I lost the old SDK kit I am now learning the newest DirectX8.1. But I would be more that happy to give tips and set aside some time to go back over more basic stuff with ya. And I think making some simple 2d games would be fun. anyway e-mail me if you are interested acidkobra@hotmail.com.

I really think you should at least read the thread. No one asked you to lead a group. The group is in the process of being established. If anyone is leading the group it's me. =) Check it out will you or quit complaining. The site is for beginners with some coding skills and a basic know-how of game programming.

I''ve just finished a Pong game too using SDL...I would be interested in tinkering on some other projects with you, but I don''t have TONS of time for it...so nothin big. =D
