I need information on how to write audio codecs capable of interacting with Windows MediaPlayer (specialized decryption and watermarking, don''t ask). I''ve been hunting for a while now and haven''t found anything. Do we have any codec gurus wandering the site? -fel

I was thinking it''s not possible for individuals to write codecs for media player. cuz all the codecs i''ve seen were from companies (especially M$

)

maybe that''s the reason that media player doesn''t have a codec for quicktime movies. cuz apple never bothered making one (or didn''t want to) and no individual could make a codec for that
