There was a game in the arcades called Magic Eyes or something. Various young Japanes women stood there while you hade to run a critter, about the size of a mouse, over their clothing which had a grid of about 5cm drawn over it. When you ran around a square it fell off. Meanwhile a bad guy chaces you around the grid. And so you went untill the young lady was ne-kid.

Well, this all ties into an article in Computer Gaming World (perhaps PC Accelerator) that points out there has been no recent comercially successful games featuring pornography. If they had retro''d they might have dug up the numbers for the original strip poker (198?). With today''s graphics and machine power, there shouldn''t be any reason why a Strip Poker 3D wouldn''t do well in today''s computer gaming climate. Just add parential locks and warnings to keep the ''parential groups'' from complaining.

You can also tie this posting into the recent hopla over Simon and Shusters (yeah, horrible spelling) upcoming ''Panty Raider'' game. Is it any better than gunning down life like CGI of people?

I have something called, morals...well my own interpretation of morals at least. Pornography is in direct violation of my interpretation...to me, it degrades one of the more sacred things ever, human sanctity. I have no respect for the people that parade in this garbage and champion it around like it should be something that you like, i think women, and men, deserve more respect than that.

It''s rather strange that none of these games are successful. Why? Most very successful games are aimed at all ages, i.e. they have a large market. Also children have a purely disposable income and so are more likely to buy games. By targeting older people with less disposable income and less likely to buy purely on demonstrated features. Either that or people will lie about their age (or be spoilt brats who have their parents get them anything they want). Go ahead, if you wish, but you will not make as much money out of it as you would a generally aimed game.

Thank goodness no other civilizations have respect for people. It is nice to see that you worship the ground I walk on, but do I respect you for it? Do words bring respect? How much respect can on have for an animated character in a computer game?

We hunt them, we mow them down, we burn their villages, why not see them in a less than clothed state when we beat them in a game of poker?

firahs, have you ever played a computer game? How much respect does the average UT bot get? It is more moral to kill computer people than to see them unclothed? How about nudity in the movies? Is it ok? What is the difference in seeing a rated R movie and playing strip poker? Strip poker has a lot less 4 letter words.

I dont know, i dont think ive ever played a computer game. It sure as hell is more moral to kill them to see them nude. I dont watch movies for nudity, nor do i play games for nudity. Strip Poker is PORN...look it up einstein.
