I''ve completed C for Dummies Vol 1, and am almost done Vol 2, for the next step, I''m thinking about getting Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus Second Edition. Would this be a good choice? Thanks

It is good to learn Win32 Programming, DirectSound, DirectInput but Andre use DirectDraw so if you want learn Direct3D is not the right book. I bought this book but I''m looking some book which talk about Direct3D to do 2D graphics.
