Hey, Goat I''m 12 years old and I got EVERYTHING I needed for C++ on Kazaa and Grokster and I mean Books, C++ Compilers and a lot of other things for FREE. Though I do admit it is a bit illegal but what the hell? They didn''t shut those companies down and I use that as an oportunity. Though on those programs you may not find top quality stuff, try it though.
I''m 13, and I got my stuff legally... Most books can be found on various websites (older editions) and if you have a parent who works at a university, they can probably get you microsoft visual studio for about 15 dollars (as opposed to over $1500)
