Ah thank you, I was calling it before I closed instead of after. This fixed my recent problem. So overall I have my program converted from "fstream.h" to fstream, but I still have question the stability of my code, and the true power of fstream. It may be due to my lack of knowedge of fstream, but I would assume it would have been easier to convert over.

Again thanks for all of your help today everyone!
