OpenGL coords / rendering

I scaled down the coords of the object, but the object now looks deformed, from what it looked like in WorldCraft. Basically its reading a list of vertices, and Im making GL_POLYGON out of them. Any ideas?????

I fixed it, all I had to do was to change GL_POLYGON to GL_TRIANGLES, however, the program now crashes after being active for around 10seconds.

Any ideas???
