Formating Hard Drive
i can write a program that formats ure drive but technicly that''d be a virus.

Just create a boot-disk then use FDISK to delete ur partition, then run your windows setup program which will format the disk for you
Just boot from your xp cdrom and select remove the partition

What do you want to do once you have formatted the drive though? If you just want to reinstall Windows then just stick the CD in the drive and reboot, the installer can do that for you. If you want to install Linux or something then let that handle it.
