texture mapping
hello guys -
I''m new with opengl and I have a problem with texture mapping and I hope you can help me.
when I take a original bmp picture - it''s work fine.
but when I take jpeg picture, convert it to bmp(by easy graphic converter) and then try to texture - the program stop working in this stage (when i open the file) :
if ((fp = fopen(filename, "rb")) == NULL)
the new picture is in 128*128 so it''s soposed to work fine.
so what can be the problam.

Are you sure that your code works great with a regular bitmap file?
if it does, your converter is probably screwed up.
try using paint for windows XP or Some form of photoshop
