Well here is the problem. I want to start programming DX application but I don''t have the money to by a good book. So I am looking for tutorials or books online that would help me. If any one can help me I really appreciate it. However remember I need the tutorials for c\c++ only since I don''t know anything about VB. Also I am really beginner with DX and have no clue about it what so ever, so please help if the tutorials are brief and simple enough to help a beginner like me. Thanks for the help.

Xgames3d has some tutorials. One is called something like "Direct Xstasy" and should get you started on DirectX setup.

East Coast Games is worth a look.
