SkyCam Environment Mapping

Which type of env mapping did you use in your Skycam demo Tim? It does`nt look like OpenGLs Sphere mapping. ..

Hi !

Yes, it''s not sphere mapping. I''m using the NV_TEXGEN_REFLECTION (or similar) extension. All you have to do is specify NV_TEXGEN_REFLECTION instead of the normal spehremapping parameter. Be sure you get the nVidia extension headers !

Does this work on all cards or just nVidia?

I guess it only works on nVidia cards, but who cares about 3Dfx deccelerators ? There might be an EXT extension, look for it !
