Software recommendations needed

Before you ask, yes I have read the sticky in this forum. What I need to do is create some concept art for my game design, possibly including photos of real buildings etc to put across the general feel and environment of the game. I'm no artist, so can't do freehand stuff on paper, and so I need a bit of software. I do have Photoshop and Paintshop, but sometimes these are a bit complicated for what I want to do. Any recommendations apart from these two?

i can suggest a free alternative called "gimp" - of which there's a windows version now.

As for simplicity... well... you can pick up tablets real cheap these days. I've seen cheaper then this, but you get what I mean from it:

Most concept Art is done by freehand and/or on paper , because it is "just" a concept to create your needed stuff in the software then . There is simply no Concept Art software that creates your needs at one click . I am still at searching the "Read my Mind and create my Sprite by clicking" Button ;)
Here's another site with cheapo tablets. The software that comes with "Scribble" is pretty damn simple

I know I can't get software that will draw for me, I guess I just want to be able to mess around with images, and add effects etc so I don;t have to do too much freehand work.

I'll try the software recommended, and maybe try out using a tablet.
rate me nicely if you found what I said helpful, I wouldn't mind having a higher score ;-)
