OGL2.0 what r we wating on?

Is it maybe because of the extension system, that a 'new version' of OpenGL is less exciting?

not really,if it had some more features becoming core then it would be better, as it is its a shadow of the inital proposal by 3DLabs, and while the functions are usefull its just a kinda 'meh' feeling. If they had included a decent RTT extension then I probably wouldnt be so down on it [smile]
Could somebody argue why nobody implemented an ogl2.0 wrapper yet ?..

If the extensions arent present in the drivers then you cant get to them, thus they cant be used, so what would a wrapper do?

You could write a software version if you wanted, I dare say the Mesa lot are on it now, but that wouldnt help with hardware accelerated stuff [smile]
