8080 8086 question

Well, I know that the 8086 and 8088 have 20 bit address busses. I don't know without looking it up, but I'd wager that the 8080 has a 16 bit address bus. The 4 extra bits would give you 16 times the address space.

edit:
OK, I googled it. The 8080 does have a 16 bit address bus.

It's not as bad as it looks. If you're really interested in the inner workings of the CPU, Petzold's "Code" is a good place to start.
