what's that shader?

i want to do one of these nice lighting shaders that is used often in modern games. here are two screenshots.

the effect i mean, is that bright, warm lighting and the small specular halo around the models.
how is that done?

it's done with a post process effect called bloom. take a copy of the frame buffer, blur it, add it back into the frame buffer.
