updating a scene in corner pieces based on camera movement
can this be accomplished without rendering to a texture first? if not, then is it really faster? i think i don't understand the technique.
Can you elaborate more on what you're trying to accomplish? I have no idea what you're talking about from the information given.
i have no idea. and my understanding of it would only work for vertical and lateral movements of the camera now that i think about it, so i must be wrong. but i've read a few different posts that mention updating the framebuffer only in l-shaped corner pieces when the camera is moved. how would that work?
