Whats the best you have gotten when making water effects?
Ok, I am a total noob to OpenGL still but I was wandering how far someone went to make relistic water in OpenGL. It does not have to be a high graphic game or anthing. But more like wave effects, shaders, and or bumbmapping if your rendering supports that. Can you guys post any pics on your water effects in OpenGL? It does not have to be perfect or anything like I said.

a very simple method, just bumpmap some noise
draw 2 textures over the top of each other one animating clockwise + the other anti-clockwise, this give the impression of ocean swell
