Uhh, What's this post in reference to?

As for the BBB, there are 100's of thousands of new companies created every year, and very few register with the BBB. The primary benefit of the BBB is for consumers to search their database to see if other consumers have filed complaints about a company in question. But the company doesn't have to be registered with the BBB in order for someone to file a complaint about them.

For the record, the BBB says this about Set Focus:

"The Bureau processed no complaints about this company in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period."

...which would suggest nobody has had a negative experience with this company.

As for registering with the BBB, this optional. Some organization choose to register with the BBB so they can claim they meet tough standards, and that they adhere to voluntary self-regulation and a strict code of ethics. But just because a company isn't registered with the BBB doesn't mean any of the above is untrue. It just means they've not registered with the BBB for the purpose of claiming it's true.

And again, what was this post in reference to? Was this some post as a follow-up to a recent thread I missed?

Probably just a post to bump SetFocus back up on GameDev.net. As some others mentioned in the other thread, it seems that they have people do this on occasion. That's not to say that my opinion would not change for the better, if I knew of some people that actually work in the industry say they were trained there.
