i'm writing a small video player in c# using DirectShowLib. Works fine and now i'm trying to add support for multichannel audio. When i load the file, i check the audio stream and get its AMMediaType and the WaveFormatEx (from here i see that the file has 6 audio channels). Then i create the graph and add a DMO filter ("WMAudio Decoder DMO") that is connected to the "Default DirectSound Device". The problem is that when i check the connection media type, the wave format has only 2 channels... So i tryied to disconnect the dmo filter from the directsound device, and re-connect them using the mediatype i got from the audio stream at the beginning, but i get an "audio format not supported" error -__-' Does anyone know how to manage this? And is there a way to check if a WaveFormatEx is supported and/or to get a list of the supported formats? Thanks :)
