Power Render 3D - Like it?

Has anybody used the Power Render 3D engine before? Just looking for some quick reviews, pros/cons of the engine, so I know whether or not I should consider buying it.

Power Render was one of the first engines I worked with many years ago. I learned a lot without the requirement of understanding the subtle details. Really helped me ease into 3D rendering. It's very powerful and suitable for most games.
I should add that I worked with the power render 5 engine then so I cannot comment directly on the latest versions.
