I was really hoping you'd finish this game when I first read the post. I'm downloading the demo now.

edit: Sadly the demo crashes when it gets to "loading gameplay" [sad]

Shame, would love to play this thing.

Crash and burn after assets loaded. Screen says 'Level Editor...' even if I blatantly click 'Demo'.

Windows XP Pro SP2, Athlon 4800+, 2GB Geil RAM, GeForce 7900GTX.

PhysX was updated about a week ago, so should be ok unless you're using absolute cutting edge.

And d3dx9_35.dll

and when I found copies of both and run the game, when I chose "demo" I got:

"Missing Files, please install the physx drivers from http://www.ageia.com/drivers/drivers.html Game Will Now Exit"

er...

okay, and installed those and NOW I'm at the place of the previous poster--crashes in "loading gameplay".

The splash screen is very pretty? :/

This is the same error I get. I installed PhysX and (though I didn't check for new releases) I'm pretty sure I have the newest DX.

oh damn, I forgot to change the demo loading :S haha, no, that isn't a problem, it's just my short sitedness.

The PhysX errors mean you don't have PhysX installed (obviously :P) all d3d dll missing errors are because you don't have the latest version of directx.

The spontaneous crashing is because I'm an idiot :(

It looks like I copied an older version of the media folder. No idea how that happened but this version of the game should work: http://thatsgames.com/downloads/zamndemofixed.exe (currently uploading to the website, haha, it will be done eventually though)
you've got the main gameplay down, and you have a level editor going.

Why not make a fan sequel rather than a remake? It'll probably be more interesting as it'll be something we haven't played before.
