The link I was listening to this and thought to myself, these are great ideas and concepts that designers should think about. Watch the video, don't read the article for what I'm talking about... The first 20-30 minutes of this video when you apply it to game design and the ideas of fun and game play I think is something that would benefit a lot of games. Also the article and rest of the video is interesting, but as it is about economy and government, please don't turn this into about that. I would like to know what others think about applying what is said by Glen Jacobs to game design, not the economy or politics.
