Looked pretty cool and arkanoids are always fun. :) I like the idea of having location-specific high score lists. I guess my one complaint would be that having the background move when you move is distracting, confusing, and unnecessary.

I hear you - the background moving is part of the experience of moving the paddle - and the distraction of the background is part of increasing the difficulty of the game.
