I have a couple of questions which can sound stuped( i"m sorry if they are),but i want to know what are the advantages of CIE model vs. the RGB model? CIE color model presents all colors that human eye can see? And let me see if i get CIE model right: the horizontal axis =red, vertical axis=green, blue is the difference between 1 and the sum of red and green? I am a student and i"ll have an exam abou that , but my teacher has only 3 screenshots of the CIE diagram in his materials and that"s all.And i am trying to learn about the CIE features and it"s advantages afore RGB? I have read some articles about CIE , i just need a cleaner answer.
Thank you.

AFAIK:CIE RGB / CIE XYZ spaces are designed to describe the colours that can be perceived by the human eye, where on the other hand, standard sRGB is designed to describe the colours that can be displayed by a CRT monitor.
