We're a small game studio stationed in the United Kingdom that are developing our first paid game entitled 'The Sacred Hero'.

The Sacred Hero is an open-world 2D RPG which focuses mostly on adventure with a detailed plot and characters thrown in as well.

This game is built on RPG Maker MV, but is becoming it's own game as time passes due to it becoming less and less like a generic RPG Maker game.

Most people who have seen it claim that it is extremely unique, with how there are an extremely little amount of loading screens - making the world almost entirely seamless. Also with how the environment changes depending on the time of day, weather, any events near that location, etc.

E.g. Characters will go inside their own houses at night. If you are in one of these houses when they come home, you could be arrested due to trespassing. Walking on paths is safer than in the forests and it is always more dangerous at night.

If it is raining heavily, some small bodies of water may flood - causing certain paths to become more difficult or even impossible to take until the rain passes.

By the day, the game is becoming more unique.

Although, the game is currently using built-in enemy art, tileset art, etc. and we'd like the game to become more unique by looking different to other RPG Maker games as well.

The game is based in medieval, Fantasy times and is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda franchise.

Below are some early screens of the game:
