Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has information on developing games for the GameCube. I know that Metroworks has created a Dev environment for it, and that it uses openGL as part of its process. But does anyone know about the SDK and hardware needed to develop and how to get a hold of these things? --Tome Games are dreams of reality!

Are you sure GameCube uses OpenGl? I was sure theGameCube''s ATI "Flipper" graphics processor has it''s own proprietry API, or SDK. Anyway, not sure about GameCube developement. The Metroworks "CodeWarrion for GameCube" solution is only for Professional licensed developers, not hobbiests. There is also SNSYSTEMS ProDG for GameCube, but that is only for Pros as well.

Pretty sure the API is very openGL like, but not actually openGL.
Hmmmmmm so I guess I knew only one thing about it!

I guess the solution is to be licensed but that is not possible yet for developers other then through a licensed company that Nintendo picked...

Ah well

Thanks for your info.
