Sounds way overdone to me. You're making a game. Yay! Talk about the game. That's of interest to actual human beings (a k a “potential customers”) that visit your main page. If you want to also toot your horn about empathy, clarity of vision, support for Everglades preservation, or anything else, that's good material for company blog posts, which would be something someone who actually cared (and thus would be at all receptive to the message) would read.
