is SDL as quick as DirectDraw for 2d graphics? does it support hardware acceleration at all? - f l u c k y p o o - the geek inside

SDL will use DirectDraw in Windows if it''s installed and otherwise available. SDL will fallback to optimized software rendering if it isn''t.
