What is Atlas Stranded

Atlas Stranded is a retro FPS being developed in Unity. Its goal is create a product that feels similar to older games like Quake and Half-Life, while adding our own modern twists. Atlas Stranded follows Atlas, a lone bounty hunter who has found herself stuck on the old habitat colony of Ares. Long since abandoned, Ares was the crown jewel of the United Republic's space colonization, being located on Titan, Saturn's largest moon. Atlas finds herself attempting to make her way back to her ship after a mission gone wrong activates the colony's dormant security system, sending robots after her as she fights her way back to the ship.

What is the goal of Atlas Stranded

Our goal is separated into multiple parts. The first part is all about making our first game as a team. We want to create the perfect game that well tell everyone who we are as a team along with getting our foot in the door. The second part is to create a love letter to the grandfathers of FPS games, including Quake and Half-Life as the main example as they really put forth what most modern FPS games are based on. The final part is to create a community of, not only people who love the same games as we do, but a community gamers who all belong together.
