I''m unsure which book of the following two I should buy: Modern C++ Design by Andrei Alexandrescu Large-Scale C++ Software Design by John Lakos Would you say that owning one of those books is enough or would you rather recommend buying both of them?

The ACCU recommends both, with Alexandrescu''s book highly recommended.
