I have programmed plenty of themed games and carried out games alpha and beta with P[p]erl, but you should have cgi/html knowledge [downfall] because the fact P[p]erl is a text based language for database oriented programming. But with cgi/html knowledge you can add the life to it with a cd recorder you can

1.Burn P[p]erl to the disk and set the path
2.Burn extracted game in correct paths
3.Set proper perl path
4.Burn a web browser to cd
5.Run the game off of the cd

Thats pretty sweet like for instance i have Linux and i might want to dual boot with windows[only god knows why i would do that?] and then you can play it off of the other os without a bunch of bullshit[speed may vary].

Anyways you can ask me a question but soon tutdoc.netfirms.com WILL be totally set up and running with cgi-bin access so i can run my games interactivly with other users. Damnit there you will soon be able to download all the tutorials/e-books/whatever you want 4 FR33 N0OoO0 C0OoO0s7 @ A11. 0nly way to become 318 lol thats not true and yet a bit brittish [318] Sw3Ee3EeT.

But no seriesly i will try to answer your question if you have one specific needed to be answered.
Note: I am 14 i try to make programmers for a better world, I have experiance with c,C++,P[p]erl,Python. And i am still not god of brains erm.
