Less than 3 days to Y2K!! What will go wrong
I've read an article that says that just because things seem to go fine for Jan 1/00 that something may happen later in the month/year. Also it said that the problem is not only for 2000 but may also affect 2001. If that is true, nobody will be getting prepare for 2001.
I think there is some problem with 2000 being a leap year. So there will be many Y2K problems (or just one very long)
Anyone getting excited for the Y2K?
I can't wait to see what will go wrong!

I read in some magiazine that 1/3 of Americans were going to buy food and other essentials for few weeks. Is it true?
Has anyone here ever written a program that would crash if it were ran in 1900? So the dates are a little screwed up, big deal! I work in the Y2K department of the bank I work for and when we tested it, it still ran. Some of our reports were off (they were showing the year "19" or "20" since we were getting the first 2 digits of the field) but that's about it.
I'm just going to prepare for hording. I'm going to make sure I have enough gas and cash. Not because I think their computers are going to crash, I think people will be preparing for a month without anything.
I realy hate media hype.

I do not make software "releases". My software "escapes" leaving a bloody trail of designers and quality assurance people in its wake.
Damn. And I have 6 months worth of beef jerky and bottled water sitting in my basement.
Sigh. ;)
