....For money??? There are ton's of 3d stock models but I can't find squat for 2d, 2.5d, top down, or isometric other than the typical gamemaker tilesets and might & magic sprite sheets (medieval theme).

I've got tons of 3d models, and just burn tons of time turning even them (no drawing involved) into 2d graphics by positioning it just right, adding lighting, taking a screenshot, isolating the object from the BG in photoshop, tweak the contrast/saturation, oversharpen with unsharp mask, crop it, resize it, save for web.

I've looked through graphic river, and other sites like that, and bought some textures for my ui, but that's about it.

If you use a game engine they usually offer some resources but I'm not using one and I was hoping there was some place that sold "packages" of top down or isometric "tilesets" to save indie devs time? (That are nicer than the one's advertised as "free" on the net)

I need something I can have the rights to use commercially (unlike gamemaker stuff on web), or heck even just to make prototypes with that aren't a complete embarrassment to look at/show others???? People's first reaction is "Oh a game like zelda". Well, eventually no, not quite, only because of these shitty graphics....

I don't care if there are 100 other devs who buy the package, I don't need exclusivity, just something nice and usable to code around. For 3d games I've bought "dungeon package" "farm package", "animated warrior", "animated wizard", etc is there not something like this for lightweight web/mobile/"crappy" game graphics. (but nicer end of crappy)

I'm thinking like Age of empires, Ultima online or Dungeon of dredmore quality, not that great. Maybe even svg. Heck I can make just about any shape in illustrator with enough anchor points using arrow keys but holy crap it takes time I'd rather be coding.

I believe there are some in the GDNet Marketplace -- Hex & Iso Terrain Pack 1 being an example, although I'm sure I saw at least one more at some point. Depending what you're looking for, there are some results when searching for "isometric" on GraphicRiver -- Historic Mexican Isometric Downtown and Map of City Hall being a couple of examples -- obviously I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but there appear to be plenty more results to search through. Are there any other terms that would help beyond "isometric", "top down", or "tileset"? The hex&iso terrain pack looks great as well(for what I need).

Another unrelated note I had trouble with is in "Tiled", the program, I've seen images on google of isometric maps made using Tiled but when I open it I only ever see the option for a recangle/square grid, not tilted @ 45 degree. Figure there's a setting or something I missed, I'll keep looking.
