I'd like to introduce PeerDeviceNet - a free app and framework services for developing connected (wifi and wifi direct) android apps and multiplayer games. It provides reusable components (activities, services) to set up peer-peer connections among devices(phones, tablets); and both intents and IDL interfaces to create communication groups among apps at connected devices.
