Nightform,
Since you are asking about becoming a game producer or audio designer, I moved your post here (the Game Industry Job Advice forum).

To become a producer, you need to gain experience working in the industry. Read this forum's FAQs.
It is possible to become a freelance game producer after first working in a game industry job. When freelancing one can live anywhere, but it makes your life a whole lot easier if you live in a game hotbed, surrounded by game companies.

For starters, use gamedevmap and gameindustrymap, and look up game companies in South Africa.

Nightform,
Some advice, study all styles of music from electronic to orchestral, get on soundcloud, it's perfect for a portfolio site and it's free.
Get out in all game dev forums for anyone looking for game music, you will have to work free first until you build up a reputation and portfolio.
What software, hardware are you using?

Keep up the good work
Michael
