Could someone please tell me a little about development for the DC? I have Kallisti and some specs but I have not yet checked them out. What I''d really like to know is if anyone has tried/is working on a DC app and what I should expect as a newcomer to DC. Also, has anyone tried to develop any WinCE apps on the DC. Apparently DC''s CE uses DX5 but I''d like to use 8 if possible (is it possible?) Thanks.

you cant use dx8 on dc unless there is a wince dev kit for dx8 for dc (which i highly doubt). with that said, it is very unlikly you will find a wince dev kit for dc, instead you should continue to work with kalisto for learning. as you get better, kalisto should be incorporating more of the dreamcast features and you can use them. dont think about using wince, its not very legal. i think there are some other homebrewen devkits availible, you will have to search the net.
