Texture Problem!!!!

I have modified the sample from NeHe, it is sample one, but i added the code from the first texture mapping demo, I ahve added two polygons, and a texture for each, but i have a big problem, on my first object that uses texture number one, I have a ground texture applied, on my second object that uses texure number 2, I have a yellow texture applied, but it seems that half of my yellow texture is applied to my ground object. I have never heard of this problem, And i dont see see how it could be happaning, as i have the objects bound to two different texures.

I don''t know if this is going to solve your problem, but you seem to have some bad texcoords on the texture[1], you use twice the coords (1.0f, 1.0f)

glBindTexture(GL_TEXTURE_2D, texture[1]);
glBegin(GL_POLYGON);
glTexCoord2f(1.0f,0.0f);
glVertex3f(-2.0f,0.0f,2.0f);
glTexCoord2f(1.0f,1.0f); //here...
glVertex3f(-2.0f,0.0f,-2.0f);
glTexCoord2f(1.0f,1.0f); // ...and here
glVertex3f(2.0f,0.0f,-2.0f);
glTexCoord2f(0.0f,0.0f);
glVertex3f(2.0f,0.0f,2.0f);

"Follow the white rabbit."
"Follow the white rabbit."
No it did not change anything, I never caught that because it is almost a plain texture. Does anyone know why it looks so wierd, I seem to be doing everything right.
Status=TRUE; glGenTextures(1, &texture[texnum]); // Create The Texture // Typical Texture Generation Using Data From The Bitmap glTexImage2D(GL_TEXTURE_2D, 0, 3, TextureImage[texnum]->sizeX, TextureImage[texnum]->sizeY, 0, GL_RGB, GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, TextureImage[texnum]->data); glBindTexture(GL_TEXTURE_2D, texture[texnum]);// Generate The Texture glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D,GL_TEXTURE_MAG_FILTER,GL_LINEAR); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D,GL_TEXTURE_MIN_FILTER,GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_NEAREST); gluBuild2DMipmaps(GL_TEXTURE_2D, 3, TextureImage[texnum]->sizeX, TextureImage[texnum]->sizeY, GL_RGB, GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, TextureImage[texnum]->data);

well.. what you do:
you generate a texturindex
you load the texture data up to current bound texture with teximage2d
you bind the new textureindex
you load the texture data up to current bound texture with mipmap generation

result:

no texture bound at beginning:

texture 0 creation:
you generate index for tex0
you upload to NO_BOUND_TEXTURE your image
you bind index for tex0
you upload mipmaps of yellow_data onto index of tex0 (currently bound)

texture 1 creation:
you generate index for tex1
you upload to TEXTURE0 your brown image (onto the first layer, the rest are yellow mipmaps like before)
you bind index for tex1
you upload mipmaps of tex1 your brown image

result:
tex0: all yellow but first layer, wich you overwrote with the glTexImage2D call before glBind..

why only half brown, half yellow? because half is the correct mipmaps, half is the wrong teximage2d

remove the glTexImage2D it should work then..

Thank You!!!, Ill try that immediately.

EDIT, I just tried that and it works perfectly, Thank You so much for the advice, now that I look over it I realize it was fairly obviuos, I guess I needed to just logiclay look over the code.
