where can i find a easy controled human model

in my research project, i recognize the posture of a human and want to reproduce it.
but i''m not good at opengl, i built a stick model without texture (very ugly).
So i wondered if i could download a realistic controllable human model.
Have you tried searching the web for h-anim (or hanim).
Basically it''s a VRML standard for represent human forms. I did a project with this once and I know there are downloaded human character you can use.
I can remember the url but search for h-anim (or hanim) and u''ll find it.
