*sigh*
So what that means is content will continue to go up most likely over the next week as well, although I have a feeling this is the same for just about everyone who went this year. I guess GDC is finally simply starting to get too big. I also think it's the damn Indie Games Summit. It was a hell of a lot easier to summarize a day-long tutorial that covered once topic versus 3-4 different lectures per day over a two-day period. Yea, that's a lot of stuff.
Okay so I guess I found my explanation, but I'm still a bit annoyed in general. It took me nearly 4 hours to post over 100 images to the galleries. What I wouldn't give for a photo upload tool like Facebook has (turns pleading eyes to superpig) but maybe next year we can have something like that. Really though I'd like to restructure our entire coverage interface - now that I'm attending more conferences I can get a better idea of how I want to do that.
Anywhoo, the coverage I did get up today is:
Choice Awards Photo Gallery
Expo Pictures
General Conference Pictures
Parties and Special Events - the IGDA VIP Luncheon (writeup forthcoming) and Suite Night
IGF Pavilion
Spreading Your Message as an Indie Developer
Under construction is:
GDCA and IGF awards review
IGDA VIP Luncheon
Emotive press event
More sessions and interviews
I wanted to post an entry about how I do my awards show coverage, but I guess that's going to have to wait until later.
