Updated the other levels to use the checkpoint system. As far as I can tell, it works perfectly. I only had to make some minor adjustments to the level 3 boss, and I was set.

Next, a score system, high score table, and ranking system.

Yeah, I've got to get an online high score table working for this game.

Now that I think of it, I was trying to do the same thing with the origional Stompy about a year ago.

I'd like to see something like in the original versions of Doom.

Level par time (penalty points subtracted if you're over, added if you're under?)

Points for damage

Bonus points for each life (e.g. finish with 5 lives = +500, 2 = +200 etc)

You could also add random sub goals on the levels to spice things up. At the start announce the bonuses e.g.

Jump less than 20 times + 200
Jump less than 15 times + 400
Jump less than 10 times + 800

Don't release the forward key + 2000

Don't shoot any minions (non bosses) +2000 (high because you'd get points for them otherwise)
etc...

Then pick a few random ones (maybe an easy, medium and hard one)
