So...uh...Python...yeah!

So, I haven't really worked that much on the game, what with the school, Castle Crashers, Spore combo.

Apparently, as part of my beginning CS classes, I have to learn Python. Looking at some tutorials, and doing a few sample programs with it has convinced me that it is a pretty cool language. I might do some small games with Pygame, since I'm not feeling like working on my big project right now. I don't imagine Pygame will be too difficult to learn, since it is essentially SDL(I think).

I really, really wish I could make a Blocky Man creature in Spore[grin]

Python's pretty nifty to learn. I'm still a novice but I find it's a great language to tinker around in. I'm planning on learning more once I finish up my studies in Canberra; I think it's got power enough to be my main game development language.

And why can't you do Blocky Man in Spore? I bet you could if you really tried!

It does seem like a really nice language. It's just a little hard to get used to, since I'm accustomed to using languages with C-style syntax.

I'll try to make Blocky Man in Spore once I get better with the creature creator. I don't know if it's possible to create a square creature, though. Although, I have seen Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force done in Spore, so I suppose anything is possible[grin]
