I can't believe how horrible the code for my MMORPG client was. I'm trying to re-jigg it just now, and spent yesterday and the day before doing the same. It now has a state machine at it's core, and a nice scene manager in it.
I've also re-designed the way rendering is done (Goes via the scene graph obviously).

Not much to report in other news really. I bought a fan yesterday, because there's zero airflow in my room. I can have my windows open ajar, which is fine if it's nice and breezy, but if there's no much wind, but lots of heat (As there is at the moment), then I need to have the windows wide open. Which means I need to have my door closed so the cats don't jump out of the window - but that means there's hardly any airflow into the room, so it doesn't really help.

It was insanely hot last night, I had my windows open all night and I slept on top of my covers. Last time I checked, it was 17'C (At Edinburgh airport, so probably 18-19'C at my house) at midnight. Might not sound hot, but this is Scotland. Average is about 10-12'C at midnight (Completely random guess).

*scream*

A what now? I have a hole in a wall filled up with glass fitted in a frame - I was under the impression this was a standard window [smile]

Anyway, one of my best purchases from the MS store during the summit was a USB powered desk fan. Left it in its box till recently, but its been a must-have for the last couple of weeks [grin]

I still vote for a screen, then you can have your window AND door open!
