Hey everyone!

While I haven't posted in awhile, I have been working on Angels 22, mostly fixing some wierd bugs we found, and polishing some things I left half-finished. Lately though, Mark and I have been contemplating level design, and we're planning a good level to release as a demo. The demo will show off some of the newer aspects of the game, such as the menu, the carrier, new weapons, and some simple scripting (I think you get to kill a crumbler too...). Anyways, we're trying to work on that as much as possible, so when we're done, you guys are going to have to give it a whirl and tell us what you think!

Heavy Parachutes
This was what I spent most of today working on, the Heavy Cargo Chutes. As any armchair general knows, airborne troops are dependent on the supplies they bring with them, and if you're going to go through all the trouble of mounting an airborne assault, you might as well drop some tanks in while you're at it[grin] These large parachutes are dropped out of the back of the C-25s mark drew up (you can see one leaving the scene in the screeny below. We can stick a mulititude of objects on the chutes, including vehicles, and once the cargo hits the ground, the chutes detach, and the tank becomes it's own unit, and can move and fire like anything else. It's pretty cool, and I'll have to put up a video of it soon, but until then, you can look at this screenshot of a test drop I set up...

Airshow
Tomorrow I get to go to the El Paso airshow and see my dad fly in Heritage Flight. It should be pretty fun, and supposedly I get to go onto the ramp and check out the P-47 they're going to be flying with. I'll be sure to takes some pics and post them tomorrow or the next day if anyone is interested.

Well, thats all for now, Mark and I will try and get that new demo together and then let you guys have at it! Peace Out!

Thank you for the welcome! I played the demo of your old game and love the work you're doing on the new version. Go '07!
