Yeah, maybe I'll make a thread in the Visual Arts forum about deviantart, I kinda wanna see other game artists at work, or at least see people I know from the site in action.

Look! You can see my signature(maybe I'm revealing to much of myself on here, I should start watching my back)[looksaround]

Anyway, I'd appreciate some comments, notably about the shading. I can bust out designs like this, but I'm not always sure I convey the right shape, as I know in my head exactly what shape it is, so it's hard to tell if I'm doing it right.

Thanks, and Goodnight!

Well, I'm just a programmer, so take everything I say with a grain of salt...

I don't know exactly what shape you're trying to convey, so I can't say how well you're conveying it. The shading on the front looks good, because it's quite a bit brighter than the rest, which draws my eye to it and makes it look somehow more "important". Towards the mid-rear, you have something that looks like it might possibly be intended to be a wing, but it's hard to tell. It's shaded lighter, but the aspect doesn't really convey the "wing" concept very well. At the rear, I would expect the shading to be a bit darker on bottom, similar to the dark shading at the front.

Beyond that, I guess all I can really say is that it looks good, and I'm not much of an artist.

Thanks, I updated the shading, so hopefully it makes more sense now.

I'll scan it in some time, along with another one I'm working on(I left both somewhere else accidentally and I don't know when I'll be able to retrieve them)

It definitely looks like a aircraft, however it is very organic looking (appears to have a carapace instead of normal armor). What is this plane supposed to be, exactly?
