Personal Website

In the midst of a summer semester and working my ass off to do really well in this Finance course I am taking, I've got most of a personal website developed.

Feel free to take a peek. Any feedback would be welcomed. Specifically, how easy it feels for a person to move around the site to gauge my strengths.

Link: Visit www.david-mcgraw.com

This is the first website I've developed in a long while. I hope to have a better design in the future, but I think this will get the job done.

I notcied that the black background titles justify left when I change pages via the links, although the initial page that loads up has it centralised. Also, if I am not viewing the site maximised in my browser some of the spacing is lost between text lines e.g. try viewing your front page in a window and then switch to maximised view and line spaces disappear (for me anyway).

I am using Firefox 2.0.0.3

Nice site though, good About page :-)

Thanks for the feedback ukdm. I'll look into these issues after my exam.

I did that one on purpose due to the lack of information that will actually be on the front page. When the black title justifies to the left, it basically turns into a navigation bar to visit different aspects of that given page. If it looks odd, working like that, I'll change it. What do you think?

I'm going to need to tinker around with this today. Thanks for bringing it up.

Not sure about the title moving to the left. I will reserve judgement until you have more content, but having consistent areas of the screen that stay the same from page-to-page usually looks best e.g. GameDev has the title bar across the top .
