Small update today. I've implemented windowing so status bars now work along with finally fixing the palette issues. Still need to work on sprite priority.

Just wanted to drop in a say the emulator is looking pretty damn cool. Looking forward to seeing it in action sometime.

Looking good. [smile] Are you intending on simulating the pea-soup display (along with LCD blur?) I don't know if any game uses the technique, but some games on the Game Gear flickered pixels quickly between two colours to simulate a larger palette.

Nah I think I'll skip on emulating the things that made the GameBoys screen look like a pile of smudgy greyscale shit.
I do have flickering problems though. I think some games employ the "sprite multiplexing" technique where the sprites toggle off and on between frames to get around the 10 sprite per scanline limitation. I'll try to think up a better solution then blurring them.
