Hmmm....

So, I was asked earlier why some of my projects seem to go far, some even to completion, while my RPGs dwindle and die almost before they even start and it hit me. All of the former projects were fun; not just to make, but they had comedy elements in them (like Blocks Gone Wild) whereas my RPGs don't even make it past development stage because I spend 90% of my time trying to form some awesome, incredibly deep story to fill out. My current project is a good example, I finished the menu system, dialogue system, animation and movement system, part of the map system and then I started working on the storyline and it died.

So, I'm doing a little experiment; I'm building an RPG that I wanted to build a while ago; it's pretty much going to be a mockery of RPGs and be filled with RPG cliches. Let's see how it goes. I'm giving myself about 5 hours to finish the design. So, I'll post what I've got at around 10:30 tonight. See you then!

Also, I'm going to start working on some new software for my website soon. As you may have noticed, I've got some issues with it right now (other than the fact that I'm not updating it. For example, someone keeps trying to hack it via the commenting system. Luckily Deranged tested it for me and seems decent at the moment.)

I'm also going over to talk to a friend of mine because he wants to make a page, but I'm not sure if I'm up to what he wants (I don't have tons of web development experience.)

-edit-
Going to have to finish it tomorrow. I lost an hour going to my step-brother's house to get my mom's mixer for her and now I have to leave an hour early to go get Cierra from work. But it WILL be finished tomorrow. I've got a ton done; just need to finish characters, systems, and my game-play elements section. The places are all done, key features, scenario, and the main character's info.

I've always wanted to make a console-style RPG, but twisted into a musical. Every single combat would be a dance sequence.

That could really be pretty interesting. You'll have to let me know if you implement it.
