There is not much progress today. I styled the main menu view, added the attack animation and a moon in the background.

Now I need to figure out how to add collisions and make aliens chase the player with map-reduce. Tomorrow I'm kind of busy, but hopefully I will be able to sketch some diagrams.

It looks pretty! ^_^

(I will say that the tiling and motion of ground layer make it look to me as though it's scrolling backwards as the player walks--perhaps increasing the size of the ground-tiles might help? That said, it's likely not a major issue, given the one-week time-constraint!)

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I'm not happy about the scrolling of the ground. I started with bigger tiles, but then they looked too big compared to the character. If I have time after adding enemies and platforms, I'll see what I can do to make it look better.

Fair enough! ^_^
