Hello and welcome to this weeks Bi-Weekly Dev Diary! I hope you all had a pleasant holiday and a sparkling new years eve.

This week I have some general updates about game mechanics design changes and improvements, in a short version;

  • Improved upon plans to make many building or crafting functions actual actions rather than just holding certain items in your inventory (a kind of minigame when you build houses by your self). (on paper)
  • Made some progress on how to fit together first person survival and RTS gameplay. (On paper)
  • On-going research upon how to combine Unity game engine with more efficient, external code bases for the more intense tasks to enable larger scope for the game world in the future. (Long term goal)

a Reminder for the number scheme of these dev diaries; The first number represents the full year that game has been under production, starting from January 1 2019, though officially the project started almost 4 weeks earlier, at early December 2018. The second and third number are simply the order numbers of the Dev Diary, during the corresponding year of development.

Thank you for your time! You can find out every possible mid week announcements about the project on these official channels;
